We at DZ Restaurants are very blessed to have a great business that is vibrant and successful. With the holiday season finished and the beginning of a new year unfolding it gives us great pleasure to be able to focus on the future and our companies growth. With the opening of Pasta Pane in Clifton Park in late January we are beginning a new venture outside of the Saratoga region and we are excited by the opportunity it brings to us.
Since the decision was made to create a new restaurant concept, we have steadily moved forward with planning and preparation for the opening. Opening a restaurant is a daunting task, a task that all upper management has embraced and made a part of their lives. David and Roslyn have immersed themselves in the part of the project that will be seen by the guests: the design of the open kitchen, the dining room area, the bar and the host area. To see how this has evolved from a bare floor and four studded walls to where it is now is an amazing stretch of one’s imagination and creativity. On the business side of our venture is our Director of Operations, Nancy Bambara, our dynamic business powerhouse. She is developing, creating and driving the business plan to meet its deadline. She makes all of DZ Restaurants work as a business.
The great task of hiring and training staff, developing bar product lists, beer choices and wine list selections has come down to Darelle Fitzpatrick and myself. It is a laborious and detailed procedure putting together a team that embodies the essence of DZ Restaurants and our goal to be the best restaurant group in region. Choosing quality tap beer and premium wine by the glass selections demands a lot of time as well, but we are invigorated by the task at hand and we intend to impress Clifton Park when we open.
You now have a brief picture of life behind the scenes at DZ Restaurants as we ready ourselves for the new restaurant opening. We are confident we will deliver on our guests’ expectations and we await the opportunity to show you how we did. Stop in and see us – we would cherish the company.
