Hot Brewed Tea:

We are so delighted to introduce a new variety of tea at Chianti.  The new company we have gone with is called  Mighty Leaf Tea Company. They are based in San Rafael,California.

The tea comes wrapped in a hand crafted silken and award winning bio-degradeable tea pouch.  The tea pouches are filled with whole leaves, chunks of fruit, spices and flavors too big for ordinary tea bags. The bags are stitched with unbleached cotton and are without glue or staples. The tea leaves and botanicals are sourced from as far away as Sri Lanka, China and India and the tea bags are designed to accommodate a 12oz – 14 oz brew.

We pride ourselves on having a quality product that we can stand by and offer to our guests and we are very confident that we have a winner with this tea.

The Black teas we chose include Organic Breakfast, Organic Earl Grey.

The Herbal Infusion teas we chose include Organic Mint Melange, Chamomile Citrus, Rainforest Mate, Chocolate Mint Truffle.

A “Locally made” Potato Vodka .

We have purchased a 100% potato vodka from the Local Lake placid Spirits LLC. It is Gluten free. The  vodka is made from potatoes grown in the local Adirondacks. The waters are drawn from the crystal clear Lake Placid. The Vodka is distilled, bottled, marketed and delivered by the owners who have a residence here in Saratoga. It is a superb vodka with smooth texture and delicate burn that tingles the senses. Its name is 46 peaks Vodka; a term that endears itself to the 46 peaks of the Adirondacks which are over 4000 ft high. It will easily compete with the big boys and it shows New Yorkers that our locally-produced items are an example of what’s best in this region.

Single-Malt Scotch.

The Balvenie 21yr Portwood Single Malt Scotch.

Distilled at the Balvenie Distillery in Banffshire, Scotland.  Carefully selected rare reserves of Balvenie are matured in traditional oak casks  which mellows the spirit and builds character and then transferred to port casks for a few months to give it refinement and complexity.

Glenfiddich 21yr Single Malt Scotch.

Distilled at the Glenfiddich distillery in Banffshire, Scotland.  This single-Malt Scotch Whiskey has been finished in Caribbean rum casks to take on a rich toffee sweetness with notes of vanilla and hints of leather..
